Good hydration means getting the right amount of water before, during and after working out.
Staying hydrated helps prevent a decline in performance, strength, power, aerobic and anaerobic capability during workouts.

Water regulates your body’s temperature and lubricates your joints. It helps transport nutrients to give you energy and keep you healthy.

If you’re dehydrated, your body can’t perform at its highest level. Dehydration may cause muscle fatigue and loss of coordination. Without an adequate supply of water, the body will lack energy and muscles may cramp. So, it is advisable to drink water before, during and after a workout.
Good hydration has been shown to sustain and enhance your workout performance.
It’s healthy to consume both water and sodium before hitting the gym. This will improve fluid balance.

Healthy lifestyle demand drinking 0.6 liters of water at least four hours before exercise and 0.35 liters of water 15 minutes before exercise.
Consuming a beverage that contains sodium to help retain fluids is a good healthy habit to emulate.

Promote fluid balance and prevent excessive fluid loss by drinking water and sodium-containing beverages when working out.
